About Me

I am an artist, creative and a person deeply interested in helping others. I earned my BFA in visual art at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan with an emphasis on painting. Later earned my Master's Degree in Library and Information Science. I am a lifelong learner who has delved deeply into the study of arts, mindfulness and healing techniques that compliment traditional western medicine techniques. I have 10 years of experience in mindfulness facilitation and 5 years as a certified Mindful Leader. I am also a certified Reiki practitioner having completed Levels I and II in the Reiki tradition. My interests of art, mindfulness and energy healing blend together as I offer services to help those in my community.
